Terms of Service

Effective 17 August 2026 · Last updated 4 October 2026

CheckSix helps you check your pay. It does not replace your contract, your payroll department, or your union.

These terms are an agreement between you and Xon Designs, a business established in Texas, United States, which operates CheckSix at checksix.co. By using the app or creating an account you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

1. What CheckSix does

CheckSix lets you record your flying and calculates what your collective bargaining agreement appears to owe you for it. It shows you the rules it applied and the section of the contract each one comes from, so you can check the reasoning yourself.

What CheckSix is not

The figures CheckSix produces are estimates, not an official record of your pay. Your contract, your company's payroll system, and your union are the authorities on what you are owed. CheckSix can be wrong: your contract can be amended, a letter of agreement can change a rule, your schedule data can be incomplete, and the software can contain errors.

Always verify against your contract and your pay statement before you act. Do not file a grievance, make a claim, or make a financial decision on the basis of CheckSix alone.

CheckSix does not provide legal, tax, financial, or employment advice. Using it creates no professional relationship of any kind.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use CheckSix. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it.

One account is for one person. Do not share an account, and do not resell access.

3. Subscription and billing

Browser subscriptions, when enabled

Payments are processed by Stripe. Their terms also apply to the payment itself.

iPhone subscriptions

Apple processes native purchases. Price, subscription term, and any eligible introductory offer are shown before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel them in Apple subscription settings. Apple handles refund requests under its policies. Apple's standard app EULA also applies.

The app's local trial ends at the earlier of 30 days after first launch or the end of the first eligible 28-day bid period you track. It requires no card and does not start a subscription. A StoreKit introductory offer is separate; its duration and eligibility are shown by Apple. Browser and Apple purchases are separate subscriptions.

4. If your subscription lapses

If your subscription ends or a payment fails, you keep access to your own records. You can still read your entries, see your pay calculations, and export everything. You cannot add or change entries until you subscribe again.

We take this seriously: your pay records may be the evidence you need in a pay dispute, and a billing problem must never take them away from you.

5. Your data

The data you enter belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it and we do not use it for any purpose other than running the service for you. You can export it at any time. Browser account deletion and native data removal follow different processes. The Privacy Policy explains what we hold and for how long.

6. Acceptable use

We may suspend or close an account that does these things.

7. Availability

We do not promise that CheckSix is available without interruption. We may change, suspend, or withdraw features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give you notice and time to export your data.

8. Disclaimer

CheckSix is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Xon Designs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for lost pay, lost income, lost data, or lost opportunity, arising from your use of CheckSix.

Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop using CheckSix and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms. Sections 5, 8, 9, and 12 continue to apply after the agreement ends.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and post the current version here. For material changes affecting browser accounts, we email the account address before they take effect. The iPhone app does not require an account email; check this page for its current terms. Continuing to use CheckSix after updated terms take effect means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The courts of Texas have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
